Walker Design creates a clean, transparent, professional, branded atmosphere for The Assistance Fund. It was imperative to ownership that Walker Design create a professional branded environment that did not feel lavish or overdone as The Assistance Fund is a non-profit organization. The design was an exercise in restraint as budget and schedule were the two focal points within the owner’s project goals.
The 6,000 sf space is programmed as an open office environment with transparency into executive offices and staff amenities, such as huddle rooms / phone booths, cafe, lounge and conferencing spaces. The color palette was derived from the organizations branding package and elegantly utilized within the office to complement the function of the space and not overpower the occupant. The glass walls and view corridors relate to the transparency that is present within the organization and how they direct their business while facilitating interaction with their patients.
